KITCHEN INSTALLATIONS

This service may require an on-site assessment by us for determining project requirements and costs.

Kitchen & Appliances

When it comes to assembling and installing flat packed kitchens, we provide a professional service that assists you with your initial planning right through to seeing your creative dream being completed using our skilled tradespersons.

Measuring

Measuring your kitchen space is an important step to ensuring that everything fits well. Our professional installers will assist in accurately measuring your kitchen space including location of windows, doors, exhaust ventilation, plumbing, electricity, special wall and floor angles and architectural features.

Assembling Cabinets

An important stage prior to installation is to ensure that all cabinets are assembled squarely ensuring a level alignment for fitment of bench tops, base kickboard plinths, hinged doors, drawers, shelves and appliances.

Installing Cabinets

Before proceeding to install, we measure and draw the position of your cabinets on the wall to ensure everything will fit. Uneven floors and right-angled corners are checked using spirit levels and try squares. Electronic stud finders are used for identifying structural beams for hanging of wall-mounted cabinets.

Installing Bench Tops

This is the visible and most often used part of any kitchen. It is best to hire professionals to perform this process that will also accurately cut out holes for fitting of sinks and cook tops, and check fitment of the oven and dishwasher.

Interior Storage and Accessories

This process involves fitting and aligning of hinged doors, shelving, drawers, and accessories like rotating shelves, wire baskets, hidden waste bins and feature lighting.

Finishing

Cutting of base kickboard plinths, wall cabinet moulding strips and cornices are quite time consuming particularly when special cutting angles or uneven floor surfaces are involved. These require specialty-cutting tools that can be set at a pre-determined angle. We measure and attach handles evenly on each cabinet door or drawer ensuring finished surface does not splinter whilst being drilled.

Uncompleted Work

In a majority of circumstances, we can repair, modify, or finish off work that has been left incomplete by others. Please contact our office for further assistance.
